Virginia R Sutton

Virginia R. Sutton, age 89, of Alliance, passed away July 21, 2020, at Community Care Center of Alliance.

She was born April 2, 1931, in Alliance to Charles Emerson and Bernice (Keiter) Siddall and resided in the Alliance area most of her life.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Virginia attended Bohecker’s Business College and was the manager of Lawson’s Milk (now Dairy Mart), the Sawburg Apartment Complex in Alliance and Moss Creek Apartments in Bedford, Virginia.

She was a Liberty Bible Church member, and formerly active at Calvary Baptist Church in Bedford, Virginia.

Virginia is survived by her sisters, Shirley Proffitt, Sandra L. (John) Benner, Lucinda K. (Bob) Knight, and Barbara Carlson; brothers, Joe Siddall, John Bower, and Larry (Gertrude) Bower; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Howard L. Bower; and son, Max Eugene Sutton.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, at Fairmount Memorial Park with Rev. Neil Orchard officiating.
