Shirley Y. (Willis) Haupt

Shirley Y. (Willis) Haupt, age 83, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

She was born on February 22, 1938 in Barberton, Ohio to William and Mary (Lacus) Willis.

A 1956 graduate of Alliance High School, Shirley was employed at Royal China and Lawson Dairy.

She was also a housewife and a member of the Elks Auxiliary.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald R. Haupt, whom she married, July 3, 1958; daughter, Cheryl (LeRoy) Young; son, Larry (Denise) Haupt; grandchildren, Erik (Emily) Haupt, Ryan (Jessica) Haupt, and Brandy Young; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Edna (Joe) Nolan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Wilson; and brother, William Willis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Alliance Friends Church, 1307 W State St, Alliance, Ohio 44601 from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Shirley’s family would like to thank the staff at Aultman Alliance Hospice for their care, comfort and compassion.
