Patrick A. Sherman

Patrick A. Sherman, age 65, of Salem, passed away at his home on July 9, 2021.

He was born on May 21, 1956 in Alliance, to Leo E. Sherman and Betty L. (Moulin) Sherman.

A 1974 graduate of Marlington High School, Pat had many accomplishments during his basketball years at Marlington.

Pat worked for Morris and Sons, Tyler Morris, Royer, and Hollsopple’s as a milk hauler.

When he wasn’t hauling milk, Pat enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancée’ Christine Bourne; his mother, Betty Sherman; brother, Dave (Goldie) Sherman; sisters, Sue (Jerry) Henderhan and Lou Fisher; daughter, Megan (Sean) Sturgill; son, Martin L. Sherman; step-sons, Mitchell (Elizabeth) Evans, Nick (Jenn) Bourne and Andrew (Jamie) Sigler; twelve grandchildren, Aubrey, Ashleigh, Gavin, Scarlett, Theodore, Mathias, Zachary, Xavier, Darryck, Kendall, Jensen and Lucas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Gary and Ed; and nephew, Zach.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, July 12th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
