Nancy Elizabeth Asher

Nancy Elizabeth Asher passed away at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring at the age of 89 due to complications from Alzheimer’s.  A lifelong resident of Ohio, she taught 6th grade at both North Lincoln Elementary and B.F. Stanton Middle schools.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Raymond E. Asher and her parents H. Stanley and Audrey M. Polglaze of Ravenna Oh.  She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Ann of Alliance, her son Donald (Cindy) of Torrance Ca., her grandson Zachary (Priscilla) of Lawndale Ca., as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be held at Cassaday- Turkle-Christian Funeral Home in Alliance on Tuesday, October 6th from 5-7 p.m. The family requests that no flowers be sent but instead donations be made to the Melvin Jones District 13, OH-4 Eye Care Foundation.  A private service and internment will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
