Marjorie R. Fox-Kuhn, age 86, of Alliance passed away on Sunday afternoon June 21, 2020 surrounded with love by her family.
The daughter of Walter and Jessie (Brinker) Hoover, she was born on July 14, 1933. Marjorie graduated in 1951 from Atwater High School. She went on to work as a sprayer at the former Alliance Ware.
Marjorie was a member of the Alliance Senior Center where she enjoyed playing cards, also enjoyed going to Silver Sneakers at the YMCA. She was a loyal fan to her favorite television programs including DWTS, AFV, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Marjorie also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, and her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also looked forward to family get togethers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Diana (Dennis) Simmons, Carol (Gary) Stanley, Sharon Haslam, Jerry (Marilyn) Fox, Tina Fox, Lisa (Joel) Palmer; step-children, Jay (Peggy) Kuhn, and Cheryl (Bob) Cameron; eighteen grandchildren; forty one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Jerry Fox in 1972 and 2nd husband Samuel Kuhn in 1990; three brothers, Walter, William, and Russell Hoover; one sister, Mary Mihalik; two granddaughters, Danette Loy and Kristen Owens; and son-in-law, Jim Haslam.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 24th at the funeral home.
