Marilyn L Bower

Marilyn L. Bower, age 77, passed away peacefully at Aultman Hospital on September 28th, 2020.

She was born January 14, 1943 in Alliance, Ohio to Mildred (Sigman) Bower.

Marilyn graduated from Alliance High School in 1961. She was employed at Rodman Public Library for 30 years, starting as a secretary and then becoming an administrative assistant.

She was a lifetime member of Christ United Methodist Church. Marilyn was also a member of the Quota Club, of which she was a President several times. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Marilyn loved spending time with her family, both close and extended. Although she never had children, she loved them and was a great influence on all those around her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Helen L. Bower; brother-in-law, Sam Serluco; cousins, Don (Linda) Bell, Jim Sigman, Dave Sigman, Terry Fedor, Josephine Sigman and Mary Sigman; nephew, Ronald (Donna) Serluco; and Godson, Alex Serluco.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy (Sigman) Serluco.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday October 5th at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Dave Sigman will be officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rodman Public Library, 215 E Broadway St, Alliance, OH 44601.
