Margaret A Scheiben-Gantz

Margaret A. Scheiben-Gantz, age 81, passed away peacefully at Community Care Center on October 15, 2020.

She was born on March 2, 1939 to Muriel and Glennwood Sanor in Beloit, Ohio.

Margaret was a dedicated and active member of Alliance Friends Church. She was employed as a cake decorator at Giant Eagle for 15 years. Margaret was also a member of the Alliance Senior Center.

Those left to cherish her memory are her first husband, Carl (Sue) Scheiben; children, Glenn Scheiben of Ashland City, TN, Steven (Kelly) Scheiben of Beloit, and Shelley (Ty) Griffiths of Beloit; three grandchildren, Jason Scheiben, Andrew Scheiben and Madison Griffiths; great-grandchildren, Brandon Scheiben, Jacob Scheiben, and Mackenzie Scheiben; her siblings, Clarence Sanor, Martha McBride, Homer Sanor, Ruth Herbert and Linda Meissner; and several nieces and nephews; her step-children, Donald E. Gantz of Florida and William A. Gantz of Alliance.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald Gantz, whom she married on August 5, 1996; and her brother, Elden Sanor and sister Jane Barnett.

A celebration of life will be held Monday October 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park Chapel. Alliance Hospice Chaplain Freddie Rodriguez will officiate.
