Gary Lee West

Gary Lee West, age 64, of Sebring, passed away at 12:23 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

He was born March 12, 1955, in Alliance, Ohio to Paul William and Mary Elizabeth West.

Gary was a high school graduate and attended technical college. He was employed at Alliance Machine Company for 27 years and at Steel Equipment Specialists in Alliance for 11 years.

He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Elizabeth (Jackson) West, whom he married October 26, 1974; daughter, Becky (Jeremy) Cox of Alliance; son, Paul (Felicity) West of Columbus; grandchildren, Logan David Cox, Gideon Michael Cox, Milo Nathan West and Luca Benjamin West; siblings, Rose Wright, Paula Stephenson and Ernie West; and aunt, Rose Howard.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and uncle, John Howard.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday February 6, 2020 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service.
