Frederick A Snowden

Frederick “Rick” A. Snowden III, age 74, passed away on February 28, 2023.

He was born on October 13, 1948, in Alliance, to Frederick A. Snowden II and Marion (Myers) Snowden.

Rick was a graduate of Mount Union College and owned an accounting and tax professional business until he became ill.

Frederick served honorably in the United States Navy. During his service he crossed the Arctic Circle in a submarine on Patrol 24. This was referred to as the order of the Blue Nose. He was a mechanist mate 2nd class on the USS Casmir Pulakski SSBN-663. Frederick was honorably discharged in 1973.

He was a member of the Homeworth Masonic Lodge #499 F&AM of Ohio, the Tadmor Shrine, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the VFW and he received the ABC 700 award in bowling.  Rick enjoyed attending University of Mount Union football games, watching the Cleveland Indians, going to breakfast with his friends at Don Panchos and listening to Rush Limbaugh.

Those left to cherish his memory are many loving clients and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Buckmaster and his loving cat, Trouble.

A private graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
