Evelyn M. Jean (Krueger) Martz

Evelyn M. (Krueger) Martz, age 81, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at McCrea Manor.

She was born September 26, 1937, in Hiram, Ohio, to Clarence and Wanda (Faulkner) Krueger and resided in Buchannon, West Virginia for most of her life.

Evelyn retired from Moore Business Forms where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years.

Evelyn enjoyed needlework, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her siblings, Ruth (Frank) Biltz of Atwater and Margaret Smith of Hiram; and several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Martz, whom she married February 8, 1969 and who died November 19, 2018; brother, Charles Krueger in 2004; and sister, Frances Dietz in 2015.

A memorial luncheon will be held at 1 p.m., June 30 for both Evelyn and her late husband, Charles at St. Joseph Church in Maximo in the social hall.

Interment will be held at Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon, West Virginia, at a later date.
