Darlene Williamson

January 14, 1945 — December 30, 2021

Our beloved Darlene left this world on December 30th. She died suddenly at home with family by her side. She was born in 1945 at St. Francis hospital Cambridge, Ohio. She was the oldest of five children born to William “Frank” Campbell and Athalee “Virginia” Smith Campbell. She changed lives through her knowledge of real estate and was an agent for numerous agencies for nearly 40 working years of service.  She graduated from Alliance High School in 1963 and attended college at Kent State University. She married her high school sweetheart Del Williamson on October 9, 1966 and celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary a few months ago. She attended Bethany Presbyterian and Beechwood Christian Churches where she will be missed by her church family.

Darlene loved her time at the beach, especially while spending vacations with her family. She travelled to 47 states, Canada and the Bahamas. She attended numerous events to support her family and loved to share in the experiences that her grandchildren were in.  Daily she would talk to her children and grandchildren to keep her updated with their lives.

She was preceded in death by both her parents; her daughter, Lisa Diane Williamson; as well as Arthur, Burles and Shirley Williamson.

She leaves behind her children, Donald (Ginger), James (Sharon) and Steven (Melissa); her grandchildren, Colt, Gabrielle, Hunter, Kaylar, Benjamin, and Lucas all of whom were blessed to have her in their lives. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Linda (Chuck) Benedetti, William (Bonnie) Campbell, Janice Campbell and Judy (Allan) Pollack; her brothers-in-law, Harlan and Phil (Ann) and several nieces and nephews, none of whom will forget the impact she had on their lives. She was the matriarch of our family. We will miss her endlessly.

Calling hours will be held at Beechwood Christian Church Alliance, Ohio located at 12950 Easton St. NE on Thursday, January 6th 2022 at 10 AM with the funeral to follow at 12 PM. Burial will take place at Fairmount Cemetery.
