Connie Neilson

Connie Neilson, age 85, of Sebring, passed away at 5:36 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

She was born June 10, 1935 in Alliance, Ohio, to John and Virginia (Nevins) Clark Sr. and was a lifelong Sebring resident. Connie graduated from Sebring High School. She was previously an agent for the Neilson Insurance Agency. Connie enjoyed reading, coloring on her Ipad and looking through Facebook. She also liked to garden, work in her yard, she especially enjoyed walking her dog Peaches, and taking her in the car. Connie loved her Cleveland Indians.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Clark of Alliance; step-son, Jerry (Carmella) Neilson of Warren, Ohio; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond J. Neilson, whom she married in April 1960 and who passed in January 1984; two brothers, August (Pete) Grewe; John W. Clark Jr.; and nephew, Derek Pazzelli.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. James K. McCurdy officiating. Friends may visit the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Sebring Grandview Cemetery.
