Catherine Laurel Larson, age 49, of Minerva, passed away May 8, 2021. She was born on June 29, 1971 in Monterey, CA to David Henson and Sandra Hartley.

Catherine worked in CA for several years as receptionist/guest services for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Moving to Ohio in 2010, she continued to focus on being a devoted mother and homemaker, who loved her community and touched the lives of many. She was a free spirit who loved nature, writing, arts/crafts, football, anything that lit up, holidays and just being silly.

Those left to cherish her memory are her high school sweetheart and husband, Kirk, and their children, Allan and Anna Larson, all of Minerva; her mother, Sandra Hartley, and sister, Jennifer Henson, both of Seattle, WA; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Elaine and Bob Williamson of Marlboro Township, OH and Steve and Nona Larson of Sheridan, OR; sister-in-law, Kristin Prochak of Freeburg, OH; 2 aunts; 2 uncles; 2 nephews; 3 nieces and 1 great niece.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father, David, and stepmother, Venee.

A celebration of life will be held on June 29th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Brock Municipal Park in Minerva in the Kiwanas section.

Memorial contributions may be made to Monterey Bay Aquarium, 886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940.
