Carol Ann Messenheimer

Carol Ann Messenheimer, age 65, of Alliance, was called home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2022.She was born on May 11, 1956 to John and Helen (Patrick) Mottern.

Carol was a 1975 graduate of Marlington High School.  After many years of employment, she retired in 2019 from Coastal Pet Products and served as a lifeguard at the YMCA and Timashamie campground. Carol also worked as a weekend waitress at Mt. Union Diner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Travis J. Messenheimer; a grandson, Alex Messenheimer; two sisters, Sharron (Jim) Springer and Deborah (Tim) Owens; nephews, Brian (Kelly) Owens, Chris Owens, Aaron (Brittany) Owens, Zach Owens; great-nephews, Noah, Ian and Ryder Owens, Matthew and Finley Owens, and Liam Turner; and great-nieces, Madeline Oaks, Emily and Scarlet Owens, and Lila Turner.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, May 9th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m with a visitation one hour prior. Reverend Timothy Muse will officiate. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
