Brenda Jean Zinda

Brenda Jean (Sullivan) Zinda, age 53, of Alliance, passed away on September 9, 2021 due to complications from Covid-19.

She was born on July 28, 1968 in McKeesport, PA to William and Sarah (Evans) Sullivan.

Brenda graduated from Stark State College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and was the owner of Brenda’s Caring Hands Daycare for 25 years. She was a diehard Steeler’s fan, loved scrapbooking, baking and was an aunt to everyone. Brenda was also the family florist; she made arrangements for weddings, parties and all other occasions.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother; her husband, Walter Zinda, whom she married on June 16, 1990; her children, Bradyn and Jessica; grandson, Gavynn; sisters, Trudy (Ray) Flatt, Cathy (Scott) Mort, Patty Sullivan, BJ Treser and Mary Raine; nieces and nephews, Cameron, Cassandra, Christopher, Briana, SarahBelle, Carissa, Michael, DeeDee, Tracee, Aaron, Timmy and Shane; many great-nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Neva Zinda; sisters-in-law, Joy Knox and Jeanne Zinda; and brother-in-law, Michael (Margie) Zinda.

She was preceded in death by her father and her nephew, Matthew Mort.

A Steeler funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, September 15 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
