Beverly A. (Brown) Guess

Beverly A. Guess, of Alliance passed away at 4:45 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center.

She was born January 25, 1939, in Akron, Ohio, to James L. and Evelyn (Gilmore) Brown.

Beverly was a 1957 graduate of Buchtel High School and a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Brad (Sheri) Guess of Hartville; daughter, Kim Guess-O’Farrell of Grosse Ile, Michigan; four beloved grandchildren, Colin D. O’Farrell, Cailey A. O’Farrell, Leah R. Guess and “TJ” Thomas Jack Guess; and siblings, Karen Alpeter of Chicago, Illinois, Sally Bobbin of Akron and Tom Brown of Plano, Texas.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, John M. “Jack” Guess who died December 9, 2014; and a sister, Susan Brown.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 16th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
