Betty J (Denny) Miskimins

Betty J. Miskimins, age 83, of Sebring, Ohio, passed away at Crandall Medical Center from Covid19 on May 21.

Betty was born March 5, 1937, in Westville, OH, the daughter of John & Lela Mae (Schoeni) Denny.  A graduate of Goshen High School, class of 1955, she married Robert L. Miskimins on March 4, 1956. Betty worked 53 years in the insurance industry, earning her CPCU designation in 1988. In addition to her career, she served in her church, the Goshen Alumni Association and the Quota Club.

She also devoted herself to family, Bible Study, the piano and accordion musicianship.

Those left to celebrate her memory include her daughters Sue Gattozzi ( husband Pat) of Las Vegas and Carol Lear (husband David Liskey) of Alliance, Ohio; her sister Joyce Kitzmiller (husband Gene, deceased) and brother Del Denny (wife Carol); granddaughter Sissy Mercer, grandson Michael Long; great-grandchildren Dylan Karlovic, Camden and Sydney Prater, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2011 and her parents.
