Becky Lynn Albert

May 9, 1956 — November 11, 2020

Becky Lynn (Porr) (Brown) Albert went home to Heaven on November 11, 2020.  She was born on
May 9, 1956 in Wadsworth, Ohio.  Growing up in Massillon, she was a graduate of Perry High School and the Practical Nurse Program of Canton City Schools. Becky worked for many years as a nurse at Aultman Hospital, and later worked for 23 years for Dr. John Given before retiring in early 2020.

We were so blessed to have her in our lives!  She was kind, funny, generous, ever-giving, and had a strength that she freely shared with anyone who needed her…. she was our rock.

In her spare time, Becky loved antiquing and house-hunting for décor ideas, just for the fun of looking!  She enjoyed time-travel movies and watching old movies with her husband.

Becky’s family and friends meant the world to her.  She and Steve shared a large, blended family full of laughter and love.  Left here to remember Becky are her husband Steve Albert; their children and partners: Josh (Kristina) Brown , Jeff (Heather) Brown, and Jake (Ashley) Brown;
Eddie (Angela) Albert, Stephanie (John) Albert Derry, Elisabeth Albert, Rebekah Albert, and son-in-law Troy (Laura) Grubb; their grandchildren:  Adam, Nicolas, Nick (Raeann), Ethan (Sami), Roman, Sydney, Payton (Emma), Parker, Paige, Payslie, Aijon, Jebrell (Peyton), Gary, Malyah, Myrah, Gage, Tyler (Claudia), Shawn, Gracie, great-grandchildren Braxton and Mia, and “almost here” great-grandchildren Evelyn and Harper.

Also left here to love and remember Becky are her best friends – her sisters:  Judy (Steve), Terri (Dave), and Tammy (Bill) - The Sisters 4! - and their families:  Mike, Brian, Beka, Esaias, Jacob, Felipe, Dylan, Jena, Chris, Tanner, Matt, Garrett, Paige, Brayden, Isla, and Noelle.  She also has many dear friends, including one very special friend of almost 60 years, Sandy Keim.

Becky’s time with us was too short, but she was excitedly greeted in Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Amen!  Also waiting for her with open arms were her loved ones that went there before her:  her parents, Bonnie and Ed Bley and Norman and Flo Porr; her infant brother Tommy; her daughter Kristi, her great-nephew Nolan, and her grandson Amir.

A celebration of life will be held December 13th from 1-3:30 at Alliance First Friends Church.

To honor Becky, memorial donations can be made to help the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).  Donations can be sent to ALS TDI Research by visiting their website at https://www.als.NET

Becky’s mantra has long been one that we all should remember and practice:  Nice Matters!
