William A. Catlett

William Albert Catlett, Age 83, of North Benton Ohio, passed away February 24, 2024.


He was born on September 2, 1940 to Harold and Rena Catlett.


Bill, also affectionately known as Billy Bob was always the life of the party and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, wood carving, riding his motorcycle, shooting pool, and spending time with all his friends and family.

 

Bill and his wife Judy (deceased) would spend their winters working as hosts at Washington Oaks State Park, South of St. Augustine Florida. Bill was an accomplished wood carver and metal artist. They loved living on Berlin Lake, spending time on their boat and working with the Berlin Lake Association.


Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tammy (Tim) Hodge, step-son’s Brian Smith, Joe (Sharon) O’Neil, brothers Harold Catlett, Dale (Patricia) Catlett, sisters Barb (Ronnie) Strahl, Ruth (Jim) Strahl, grandchildren Mikkinzi (O’Neil) Burrows, Joey O’Neil, Dylan Thomas, Shane Smith, Amber Smith and several great grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Ann Catlett, parents Harold and Rena Catlett, sisters Carol Strahl, Mabel Tobin, Francis Catlett, and Virgina Bohall.
