Walter E. Hill Jr.

Walter E. Hill Jr., age 73, passed away on June 18, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1952, in Alliance, to Walter E. Hill Sr. and Mabel Anne (Engle) Hill.

Walt graduated from Alliance High School. Together with his brother, Mike, he built and established Hill’s Heating & Cooling and worked there until his retirement in 2010.

Walt enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching drag racing, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. Walt celebrated every milestone with his family, births of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, weddings, birthdays, and every holiday. He was hard working, dependable, resilient, reliable and leaves a legacy of support and love.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie whom he married on November 25, 1971; daughters, Melissa (Eric) Pauloski and Megan (Brian) Cross; grandchildren, Morgan (Scott) Hutton, Dani (Christian) Shedosky, Nic (Lexi) Wix and Brycen Cross; great-grandchildren, Beckett and Levi Hutton, and Luna Shedosky; siblings, Sally Arbaugh, Sue Russell, Denny (Theresa) Hill, Mike (Susan) Hill, and Robin (Steve) McIntyre; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Don and Bruce Hill and Wendy Lombardi.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, June 26th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
