Virginia "Ginger" (Kuhaneck) Morrison, age 50, of Alliance, passed away at 6:55 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at University Hospital of Cleveland.
She was born December 10, 1963, in Alliance, to Vincent F. and Carol J. (Throne) Kuhaneck.
Ginger was an Alliance High School graduate and was Aquatic Director at the Alliance YMCA.
She enjoyed swimming, reading and spending time at the beach.
Survivors include her mother, Carol Kuhaneck of Alliance; husband of more than 30 years, Russell Morrison, of Alliance, whom she married July 2, 1983; sons, Shane (Katie) and Kyle Morrison, both of Alliance; siblings, Larry Kuhaneck of California, Patricia Kuhaneck of Alliance, Vincent Kuhaneck and his children, Christopher and Victoria of Damascus, Harriet Kuhaneck of Cincinnati and John (Sarah) Kuhaneck of Kansas; sister-in-law, Sue Kuhaneck and her children, Cholley and Sarah of Chicago, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, David, Fred and Rick Kuhaneck.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Union Avenue United Methodist Church.
