Vicki Lynne Vorhees

Vicki Lynne (Light) Vorhees, age 75, passed away on July 13, 2026. She was born on June 3, 1951, in Alliance, to Robert Light and Doris (Sole) Palmer.

Vicki graduated from Alliance High School in 1969. She worked at General Electric for 15 years until her retirement.

Vicki enjoyed gardening, shopping and animals, but most of all she loved spending time with family, dancing, and making everyone laugh. Vicki also cherished her time creating memories and gambling with her companion, Donald Betz.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Cleve (Eve) Light; sisters, Teresa Albert and Geeni Urban; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Melvin Palmer; husband, Wayne Vorhees; and siblings, Robert Light Jr., Joseph Light, David Light, Paul Palmer, George Light, and Regina Martin.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, July 20th at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
