Thelma J. (Martin) Pilati, of Alliance, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born June 8, 1924, to Nelson and Zella (Snyder) Martin.
A 1942 graduate of Alliance High School, Thelma was employed by the First National Bank, Industrial Federal Savings & Loan and in 1990 retired as office manager after 22 years of service with Transue & Williams Credit Union.
Thelma was a member of First Christian Church for more than 80 years, the Alliance Senior Center, AARP Chapter 2630, Alliance Symphony Orchestra Association, Alliance Area Concert Association and the Alliance Historical Society.
She is survived by her son, Martin L. Pilati of Fairborn, OH; daughters, Lorna (Tom) Gleason and Lisa (John) Pilati-Warner both of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Emily (Turner Cobden) and Ben Gleason and Hannah and Drew Pilati-Warner; brother, Duane (Marty) Martin of Indio, CA; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014, at Alliance City Cemetery Mainwaring Chapel with Pastor Aaron Phillips officiating.
