Terry L. Wilson

Terry L. Wilson, age 74, passed away on July 5, 2024. 

He was born on November 15, 1949, in Torrance, California, to Leroy and Olive (Irwin) Wilson.

Terry graduated from Marlington High School in 1968. He worked for B&W Research until his retirement. Terry also served on the Washington Township Fire Department for 42 years, 22 of which he spent as Chief. He was on the Sheep and Swine Committee for the Stark County Jr. Fair. Terry enjoyed Drag Racing. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda (Daum) Wilson, whom he married on June 6, 1970; his daughter, Tiffany (David) Swift; Son, Josh (Tess) Wilson; four grandchildren, Kalob (Miranda) Wilson, TJ Wilson, Max Swift, Nate Swift, and Riley Archibald; sister, Marsha McQuilken; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Wilson; and sister, Marla Wilson Murphy.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Stark County Fire Fighters will conduct a Last Alarm following the visitation at 4:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 15th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
