Ted Steede, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 6:41 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Aultman Hospital.
He was born November 21, 1921, in Zanesville, Ohio, to William G. Steede and Virginia (Kilgore) Steede.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Ted was employed in the service department at Lavery Chevrolet.
Ted was a United States Army veteran having served in the South Pacific during World War II and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his son, Ted B. Steede of Cuyahoga Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen B. (Bramhall) Steede, whom he married March 5, 1950 and who died October 15, 2003; and a brother, Jack.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
