Stephen E. Mudrick III, age 58, of Alliance, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Charlotte NC, while on a business trip.
He was born April 16, 1954, in Alliance, to Stephen E. Mudrick, Jr. and Agnes L. (Decker) Mudrick.
Steve was a 1972 graduate of Marlington High School and worked as a Quality Assurance Manager with the LuK Corporation.
A member of the First Church of God, Steve served as trustee, was on the music committee, and enjoyed playing the guitar. Steve had a great love for music, enjoyed playing golf, and especially enjoyed going to any activity his grandchildren were involved with.
He will be missed and loved by his family, including his wife, Sheila F. (Rhome) Mudrick, whom he married May 26, 1973; son, Jeff (Jenny) Mudrick; two grandchildren, Hailee and Nicholas; mother, Agnes Mudrick; sister, Karen Mudrick-Phillips, brother, Ken Mudrick, all of Alliance; several nieces and nephews; and an extended loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at the First Church of God Family Life Center with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
