Shirley J. Truax, age 89, passed away on April 14, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1936, in Canton, Ohio, to Victor and Mary (Sanko) Polosky.
She graduated from McKinley Highschool.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Todd (Tami) Truax; daughter, Barbra Edwards (Casey Fox); son-in-law, Scott Tomkins; grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Truax, Jared Truax (Taylor McCarthy), Megan (Cory) Easterday, Caitlin Edwards, Demi Edwards, and Hannah Edwards; and great-grandchildren, Raelyn Truax, Bryce Truax, Lilly Easterday, and Torin Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Maryann Tomkins.
To honor her wish there will be no memorial service.
