Shawn R. Graham

Shawn R. Graham, age 72, of Alliance passed away on Saturday, December 18th, 2021.He was born on July 21st, 1949 in Alliance to Robert and Dorothy (Ruff) Graham.

Shawn was a 1967 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Kent State University. Shawn worked at East Manufacturing   as a foreman and later at Trailstar in the scheduling and finance department.

Shawn served his country in the United States Navy as a maintenance plane captain for the Phantom F-4.  He belonged to “The Red Rippers”, an attack squadron stationed in Naval Air Station Oceana (Virginia Beach).  He made three tours to the Mediterranean on the USS Forrestal.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marsha Graham; whom he married on December 28th, 1973; brother, Robert (Debby) Graham II; sister, Kathy Young; several nieces and nephews; and his four legged children, Doctor Clayborne and Chloe.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Shawn loved to read and watch science fiction.  He was a plethora of trivia and word usage. Shawn loved to make people laugh and smile.

A memorial service will he held on Tuesday, December 28th at 3:00 p.m. at Science Hill Community Church 12316 Beeson St. Alliance, OH 44601 with military honors and Pastor Jon Truax officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church.
