Scott Daniel Pepper took his first and last breath at Timken Mercy Hospital. He was born July 7, 1962 and passed away July 17, 2024 at the age of 62.
He graduated from Hoover High School in 1981. He served in the Army upon graduation. He had a love of art and history and always hoped someone would eventually find Bigfoot. He lived in several different places working retail and settled in Columbus when he had his son, Joshua. He worked very hard to support him. During his career he spent 8 years at Quality Farms and Fleet and 18 years at Sams Club. It was at Quality Farm and Fleet that he met his love, Kathy. They were married April 15, 2000. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, kayaking, and playing darts.
He was preceded in death by his father, George and his father-in-law, Tom.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy and the children they shared, Josh, Tommy, Michele (Bobby) and Heath; grandchildren, Logan Host, Olivia Franks, Taylor Franks, and Landon Russell; mother-in-law, Mary Lou; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Bud); brother-in-law, Tommy (Michelle); his mother, Dorothy; sister, Demmie (Rick); brothers, Greg (Jill), Randy (Shelly), Sam (Lorna), and Jim (Suzanne); 13 nieces and nephews; and 8 grand-nieces and nephews with one on the way.
There will be a private service held for the family at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life at Esther’s Beauty Barn (2855 S. Union Ave, Alliance, Ohio) on August 4th from 1:00-6:00 p.m. for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the cancer charity of your choice.
