Sandra L. Gampo, age 85, passed away on July 5, 2024.
She was born on August 11, 1938, in Alliance, to Mike and Goldie (Zumpanic) Szekely.
Sandra graduated from Alliance High School. She worked at Bresson Footwear, Alliance Wholesalers, and as a baker at Coletta’s Restaurant and Dawson’s Restaurant. Sandra married John “Mitch” Gampo in Williamsburg, Virginia on June 21, 1978. She enjoyed sewing, baking and cooking.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John; son, Michael; sisters, Janet and Karen; and brother, Darren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10th from 1:00-3:00. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
