Ruth G. Hill, age 96, passed away on January 15, 2026. She was born on June 29, 1929, in Akron, to William E. and Gertrude May (Stuver) Truex.
Ruth graduated from Green High School and worked as a secretary for Legal Craft and Buckeye Packaging.
She loved spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Becky (Rich) Schmidt; grandchildren, Tyler (Nanette) Schmidt and Ashley Miller; and great-grandchildren, Aleah and Blakely.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Hill; and three brothers.
A private family service will be held.
