Ronald H. Layne

Ronald H. Layne, age 64, of Sebring, passed away on January 22, 2022.

He was born on April 19, 1957 in East Liverpool to Fred Austin Layne and Myrtle Elizabeth (Harris) Layne.

Ronald worked as a welder after he graduated from high school; he then began his career as a truck driver for J.B. Hunt. Ronald attended college at Ohio State University and Ashland College. He then continued his driving career at DL Belknap Trucking Inc. Ronald also enjoyed running a side business mowing lawns. He previously liked scuba diving and snow skiing, but more recently he enjoyed boating and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Richard A. Layne of Mt.Gilead, OH; a sister, Sue Ann (William) Shevock of Odenton, MD; nieces, Amy and Holly; and cousins, Lolly, John, Bob, Richard, Julia and Frank Layne of Kansas City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29th at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Ed Carter will officiate.
