Ronald G. Miller

Ronald G. Miller Sr., age 80, of Alliance, passed away on February 24, 2022.

He was born on May 25, 1941 in Salem, Ohio to Homer A. and Pauline (Blanchard) Miller.

Ronald graduated from Goshen High School in 1959. He began working for Damascus Livestock Auction and then went on to work for Eljer Plumbingware for 32 years. Ronald enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns, as well as Westerns. He also liked to read and sing. Most of all, Ronald loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, of 56 years, Kathy Miller; his children, Ron Miller Jr., Steve (Rachel) Miller and Karen Difloure; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dylan, Caleb, Carter, and Clay; his siblings, Lavonne Edgerton, Sandy Hollabaugh, Linda (Larry) McKeiver, Kate (Dane) McCallister, Richard Miller and Roger (Bonnie) Miller; brother-in-law, Eldon Morckel and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Miller; and sisters, Vanda McQuistion, Irene Morckel and Sally Pollock.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
