Rochelle Holmes

Rochelle Holmes, age 67, passed away on July 22, 2025.

She was born on July 14, 1958, in Alliance, to Jacob and Gillie Mae Holmes.

Rochelle graduated from Alliance High School. She was formerly employed at Little Tykes and Sterling Plastics, both in Hudson. Rochelle was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Alliance before moving to Akron and attending Eternal Life Church.

She loved being with her family during the holidays and caring for her dog, Sugar, who she treated like her child.

Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Reggie Holmes (Yolanda), Clara M. Holmes Harper (Ezekiel), Edward J. Holmes (Brenda), Alfreda Holmes-Bess, Randy Holmes (Lauren), and Barry Holmes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Gillie M. Holmes and grandparents, Jim and Clara M. Daily.

A memorial service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, August 15th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Calling hours will be held prior from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
