Robert Thomas Summers, age 84, passed away on March 4, 2024.
He was born on March 3, 1940, in Alliance, to Thomas and Helen (Beck) Summers.
Robert graduated from Alliance High School in 1958. He worked as a structural steel layout technician for Alliance Machine and Hamrick Manufacturing. Robert was also a 15 year past member of the Lexington Township Fire Department. He was a member of the Stark County Firemens association and attended Lexington United Methodist Church. Robert enjoyed making model semi-trucks.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Doris (Harding) Summers; sons, Jeffrey Summers and Brett (Carla) Summers; and grandson, Marshall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Lawrence and Marie Harding; and his aunt, Twila Summers.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on March 12th at 3:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
