Robert R. Solomon

Robert R. Solomon of Alliance, age 73, passed away at 9:55am June 29th, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Canton.

He was born March 20th, 1953, in Alliance to parents George D. and Alice A. (Bositis) Solomon.

Robert ‘Bob’ was a graduate of Alliance High School and had been with the City of Alliance Parks Department for 14 years and very much loved what he did. Bob was an avid golfer who loved golfing with his Nephew and Great Nephew. Bob enjoyed gardening during the Summer, and spending time with his Great Nieces and Nephew fishing at his pond. Uncle Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his nephew, George W. (Nicole) Solomon Sr. of Lakewood, Ohio; niece, Sommer (Ebon) Smiciklas of Mentor, OH; niece, Melissa Solomon of North Benton; five great-nieces, Alexandria Solomon, Ryker Solomon, Maci Lanham, Daisy Smiciklas, Lily Smicikla; and great-nephew, George W. Solomon Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George D. Solomon; and sisters, Dorothy Solomon and Kay Solomon Streblo.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 1:00 at Alliance City Cemetery.
