Robert Ernest Nitz Jr.

Robert Ernest Nitz Jr., age 36, passed away on September 17, 2024. 

He was born on January 26, 1988, in Alliance, to Robert Ernest Nitz Sr. and Debra Mikol.

Rob was a member of the Dante Club. He loved cars and fixing them, but more than anything, Rob loved spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rachel; children, Anthony and Autumn Nitz; step-children, Travis Sanderson, Mikayla Sanderson, Kiersten Foster, and Taylor Schoenauer; grandchildren, Kingston, Novah, Zayne, and Avery; sisters, Emily (Justin Jayjohn) Nitz, Debra Nitz, and Courtney (Robert) Littell; brothers, Joseph Nitz and Brendan (Robin) Sloat; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Ruth and Michael Mikol and Charles and Irene Nitz; and uncle, Dale Nitz.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, September 27th at 3:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior.
