Robert D. Lucas

Robert D. Lucas Jr., age 48, of Alliance and Moundsville, WV, passed away on January 30, 2022.

He was born on August 7, 1973 in Alliance to Carol (Lucas) Yoho and Robert “Jack” Lucas Sr.

Robert loved spending time with his dad racing stock cars at Tyler County Speedway in West Virginia. He was a very intuitive mechanic and could diagnose anything just by listening to a running car.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Carol; his five children, Cole Grimm, Taylor Wise, Austin Lucas, Seth Lucas and Zoey Lucas; sisters, Cheryl Springer and Jackie Myers; and brothers, Freddie “Bart” (Elya) Yoho and Daniel Wade.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Rex Billiter will officiate.
