Robbie May Seals

Mrs. Robbie May “Bobbie” Seals, at the age of 100 years old died Friday morning, June 27, 2025 at 1:25 am at The Grace House Hospice of Akron, Ohio.

She was born on April 22, 1925 in Walls, PA. Mrs. Seals resided in Ohio for more than 90 years. She lived with her daughter Lola O’Neal for the last 20 years of her life. Mrs. Seals retired from Morgan Engineer.

Mrs. Bobbie Seals is survived by, two daughters, Lola O’Neal, Dianna Copeland; son, Victor A. “Junebug” (Candace) Seals, all of Alliance, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Robert “Bobby” Bush, Bernard “Bernie” (Angela) Hawkins, Cheryl Hawkins, Darlene (Nickoles) Holly, Charlene (Fredrick) Montford, Paul Andre Wheaton, Lia Taylor, Deanna (Joe) Salter, Charles (Jeannie) Copeland, Victor A. Seals Jr., Shandalyn Copeland; 41 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandson, whose name is Future. Also, the family acknowledges her special friend Mr. Harvey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Buck” Edwards Seals; Father, Jack Bolton; Mother, Lola Mae Brown-Bolton-Bridgeman; infant son, Charles E. Seals Jr.; daughters, Shirley (Wheaton) Woods and Norma “Chappy” Stephenson; granddaughters, Angel Hawkins and Nichole D. “Lena” Holly; great grandson DJ; and cousin whom she loved like a sister Adele Cameron.

The Rev. W. Max Millender, Pastor of New Zion Baptist Church will officiate services on Saturday July 5th at 12:00 p.m. at the New Zion Baptist Church.

Calling hours will be on Saturday July 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the New Zion Baptist Church. Senior Pastor, Nickoles W. Holly Sr., (grandson) of New Morning Star Full Gospel Ministries (718 Cornelia Ave. Canton, Ohio 44704) will be performing the eulogy.

Interment will be in Alliance City Cemetery 541 W. Vine Street Alliance, Ohio 44601. (07-05-25)
