Richard O. Scharein, age 56, of Boardman, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Akron Children's Regional Burn Center.
He was born Sept. 7, 1950 in Youngstown to Otto and Gertrude (Fingado) Scharein.
Mr. Scharein received his B.A. in History and his MBA in Banking and Finance from Youngstown State University. He was a caregiver to his mother, an avid runner and a sports enthusiast.
Richard was a member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
Survivors include his three sisters, Katharine Morgan of Cleveland, Trudy (Dean) Lewis of Alliance and Nancy (George) Ewing of Streetsboro; three nieces; four nephews; four grand nieces and four grand nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
