Richard F. Novak

Richard F. Novak, age 79, passed away on January 3, 2026. He was born on May 28, 1946, in Cleveland, to Frank and Helen (Machusick) Novak.

Richard served honorably in the United State Air Force and was a proud member and past commander of Parma VFW Post 1974. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Rich was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He was a handy man who could fix just about anything. Rich loved helping people wherever he went.

Those left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Nancy Lewis; two sons, Brant (Julanne) Novak and Chad Novak; six grandchildren, Bradyn, Emme, Kyleigh, Zachary, Andrew and Maggie; brother, Robert (Debbie) Novak; and sisters, Sharon Gaal and Lauren (Peter) Boros.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Margaret Glasgow; and brother-in-law, Frank Gaal.

A celebration of life will be held at Marlboro Christian Church on January 16th at 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow. Interment with military honors will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
