Richard C. Hilles, age 84, passed away on April 23, 2025.
He was born on July 23, 1940, in Alliance, to Richard and Ann Cunin Hilles.
Richard graduated from Mount Union College and worked as a systems analyst for IBM and Roadway Trucking. He also taught 8th grade math at Souers Middle School in Canton. Richard was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and Emotions Anonymous.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working out. Richard loved cars, especially his Corvette.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three children, Richard Kelley Hilles (Stephanie Elzondo Griest), Ross Kelley Hilles (Tamara Noah), and Stefanie Ann Hilles; a brother, Mike Hilles; and a sisters, Betsy Knepp.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30th at 7:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
