Richard E. Phillips

Richard E. Phillips, age 69, of Alliance, passed away on February 13, 2022.

He was born on October 15, 1952 in Concord, MA to Anthony and Beverly Denaro.

Richard attended Ohio State and worked for the United States Postal Service for 32 years. He served honorably in the United States Air Force as a paramedic and did a tour in in Vietnam. Richard was a 27 year member of Alliance Christian Center and served as a worship leader there. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was in a band with his twin brother, Twice.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carmen Phillips; his son, Steve (Jessica) Phillips; his step-children, Tanya (Shane) Smith, Darren (Peg) Dramble, Amanda Dramble and Naudia (Jeremy) Saeger; his step-grandchildren, Nigle (Sarah) Smith, Austin Smith, Sionda Dramble, Coltson Saeger, Cheyenn Saeger; his siblings, Billy (Marsha) Phillips, Tanya Phillips, Scott Phillips, Joe (Dorothy) Denaro and Anthony Denaro; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Mike Phillips; and his brother, David Phillips.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, February 17th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Kirk Martin will officiate. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
