Richard H. Bush

Richard H. Bush, age 82, of Homeworth, passed away on March 10, 2024. 

He was born on May 4, 1941 in Alliance to the late Harry and Alice (Decker) Bush. He was also preceded in death by his brothers E. David and Robert Bush.

Richard grew up as a member of Middle Sandy Church in Homeworth. He was a 1959 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and served 20 years in the United States Army. 

Richard was an avid reader, loved to watch the Cleveland Indians, and enjoyed playing cards. He also loved country music and his fish and aquariums. More than anything, Richard loved spending time with family and friends. 

Richard will be deeply missed by his five sisters, Joanne Melton, Janet (Craig) Davidson, Linda, Gayle and Nancy Bush; two brothers, George (Chong Min) and Ron Bush; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Julie Cross and Jayme Fletcher; and his honorary grandsons, Rocco, Fraraccio, Reese, and Riley Wainuskis. 

The family would like to give a special thank you to his friend and caregiver Jayme Fletcher and her family for all their loving care and to the VA and Crossroads Hospice for all their care and assistance. 

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday March 14, 2024 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, March 15^th from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
