Raymond M. Ott, age 82, passed away on June 29, 2026. He was born on January 17, 1944, in Louisville, Ohio, to Marvin Henry and Anna (Horst) Ott.
Raymond graduated from Marlington High School. He worked for American Steel and United Foundries as a millwright until his retirement. Raymond was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Vietnam Veterans of Stark County, the American Legion Post 548, as well as a lifetime member of the NRA.
Raymond loved being outside including boating, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was also an avid woodworker. More than anything, Raymond loved spending time with his grandkids and going to all of their sporting events.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara (Evers); children, Kevin (Kelly) Ott and Rebecca (Reginald) Moise; and grandchildren, Sierra, Mariya, Kaitlyn (James) Holiday, and Nicholas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Wilma Noble, Helen Bennett, Hazel Jackson, and Robert Ott.
A funeral service will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Thursday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Vietnam Veterans of Stark County in Raymond’s honor.
