Raymond A. Cunningham

Raymond A. Cunningham, age 64, passed away on January 3, 2023 at Aultman Alliance Hospital.

He was born on August 25, 1958, in Alliance, to Ray and Thelma (Campbell) Cunningham.

Ray attended Alliance City Schools. He was a retired roofer and home repairman. Ray was always willing to lend a hand and help a neighbor. He was a member of the Roma Society.

Ray enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, jigsaw puzzles, shooting pool and playing bocce. He had a natural talent in all that he participated in, but there was nothing he loved to do more than visit with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Amanda (Brenton) Cunningham-Coven, Raymond L. Cunningham, Gregory (Kayla) Cunningham and Nicholas Cunningham; his former wife and friend, Kathleen Cunningham; his sisters, Linda Richards, Beverly (Mike) Haberland and Brenda Shortridge; four grandchildren, Gregory, Allison and Gabriella Cunningham and Vincent Coven; and one granddaughter expected to arrive within the month, Claire Coven.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Donna Light; and two brothers-in-law, Chuck Richards and David Light.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
