Rahn Anderson Hawkins Sr.

Rahn Anderson Hawkins Sr., age 69, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2024. 

He was born on April 17, 1955 to the late Steve and Almetra Hawkins.

Rahn graduated from Alliance High School in 1973. He served honorably in the United States Army. Rahn then went on to work for Timken Roller Bearing for 30 years until his retirement. He attended many area churches.

Rahn loved to play tennis and was also an avid chess player. He also enjoyed playing his Xbox and going to the YMCA. Rahn enjoyed nature and was dedicated to taking care of his aquariums and many fish. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Lynn; children, Otheria (Hawkins) Polite, Rahn Anderson Hawkins Jr., Sanyia, Iyana, and Jordan Sr.; grandchildren, Kerystyn (Ian), Kaleb, Kendall, Kamryn, Kimberly, Kyra, Kenzie, Kourtney, Jordan Jr., and Casimir; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Everleigh; siblings, Myron (Marsha), Steve (Barbara), Darrell (Deborah), Kevin, Vernon and Troy (Ronda) Hawkins, and Kendra (Timothy) Anthony; and several aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, couisns, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerard; sister, Deirdre; paternal grandparents, Anderson and Lennie Hawkins; and maternal grandparents, Eli and Rose Francisco.

Rahn is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed. 

A funeral service will be held at Second Baptist Church on Thursday, May 16^th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
