R. June Anderson

R. June Anderson, age 89, passed away on July 2, 2024. 

She was born on April 8, 1935, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to Carl and Hazel (Ammons) Gregg. While living there, she met and married William "Willie" Anderson. They traveled while he was in the service, but eventually made their way to Alliance, Ohio where they raised their family for more than 60 years.

June worked at Lamborn Floral as a rose cutter for over 25 years until it closed. She loved flowers, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She attended First Friends Church in Alliance. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bill (Jenny) Anderson, Mark (Kim) Anderson, Doug (Mary) Anderson, and Tim Anderson and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Anderson; two sisters, Mary Ross and Alice Testa; and a brother, Bob Gregg. 

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
