Polly A. Watson

Polly A. Watson, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2026.

She was born on February 21, 1934 in Canton, Ohio to John & Edith (Lender) Miner.

Polly graduated from Lehman High School in 1952 and attended THE Ohio State University. She is also a member of The Chapel in Marlboro.

She was a stay at home mom and enjoyed raising her 4 sons & spending time with friends.

Polly was a 30 year volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include four sons, Timothy (Barb) Watson of Jupiter, FL, Scott (Sherry) Watson of Alliance, Eric (Barbara) Watson of Canton and Todd Watson of Homeworth; six grandchildren, Nicole, Kelsey, TK, Jared, Allen and Nicholas; and a passel of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ed, whom she married on Sept. 10, 1960 and a brother Bob Miner.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery of Maximo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Alliance Hospice or The Chapel in Marlboro.
