Polly L. Sullivan, age 93, of Alliance, died at 7:25 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011, at Alliance Community Care Center.
She was born May 17, 1918, in Alliance, Ohio, to Roy and Kathryn (Sanor) France.
A 1936 graduate of Marlboro High School, Mrs. Sullivan graduated from Canton Actual Business College. She was employed as a Secretary for General Combustion for 15 years, before retiring from Eynon Construction after 15 years of service.
A member of Jehovah's Witness Alliance West Congregation, Polly enjoyed playing the piano and reading.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann L. Watson of Buckeye Lake; son, Arthur Sullivan of Alliance; brother, William France of Florida; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Congregation Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
